FIVE DIMENSIONS OF INCLUSION
Evaluating HOW organisations DO what they do?
This is a three year Altrum Project to develop evaluation and feedback processes for organisations that are working for more inclusive services and communities. Nine organisations are part of the project and people who use services, family members and others are being trained and coached to become evaluators.
We are using the Five Dimensions of Inclusion© a method and set of standards to provide feedback for services, organisations1 and groups that are working for inclusion.
Explorations are carried out by small teams of trained evaluators who help your organisation understand itself in different ways and at different levels. With a new understanding you can then work out how you want to change.
Our teams use a staged process to help understand five different dimensions that affect the quality of the work.
These dimensions are concerned with
Learning, developing and growing,
Right Relationship,
Power
Usefulness and Relevance
Uniqueness and Diversity
1 E.g. organisations that provide support –like supported living services, outreach services, supported employment services etc..
